Why is it that flights to the craziest countries tend to land at the craziest times?
Sure enough, we hit Cairo at about 2:30 am, only to encounter pure confusion punctuated by beat up old Peugeots and two guys on a motorcycle with their goat.
But the adventure was only beginning, as the poorly-ventilated Great Pyramid and rush hour at the Sphinx yet awaited us.
