Episode Seven–Wing-It Worldwide–Seoul

Switch on the heated floors and reach for new Hites, because it’s this episode that truly exposes what travel dorks we really are. First, we have no idea how to pronounce anything in Korea. Then, we have no idea how to eat anything there either. To make matters worse we had to bring up that little trumpet at Gyeongbokgung. Well, at least we behaved ourselves at the DMZ, even if ‘H1N1 concerns’ kept us out of the infamous UN Meeting Room for almost six years. But we got back to town just time to get Cookin’ in Seoul’s underrated theatre district.

Punjab state in India is home to Sikhs and theatrical border showdowns, yet it’s visited by relatively few Westerners…especially with infants. While others hurry off to Rajasthan, Mumbai or Agra, we were sure to head northwest to experience the wonder that is The Golden Temple. After that, it’s on to the nearby border town of Wagah to take in the bizarre but fantastic daily extravaganza put on by Indian and Pakistani soldiers. Fasten your seat belts and hang on, the Ambassador taxi is hurtling headlong down the road to adventure.
